CTI Achieved the LISCR Acceptance Letter

As per the latest Marine Operations Note 01-2020, Liberia released from Liberian Administration (LISCR), IHM service suppliers carrying out Visual/Sampling test is to apply for acceptance from LISCR.

CTI had already been accepted by Liberia in 2016 to conduct IHM related work on Liberia registered ships. Upon receiving the Note, CTI made a prompt response for the review and acceptance. Based on the earlier documentation submitted for compliance with the requirements for IHM Expert Companies and the active action, CTI received the ‘IHM Expert Company Letter of Acceptance’ in a smooth and satisfied way.

LISCR has confirmed that CTI Shanghai and CTI Singapore meets the provisions in MEPC Resolution 269(68) for the development of the Inventory of Hazardous Materials. CTI is therefore authorized to conduct visual and/or sampling checks and testing of hazardous materials and preparing the inventory of hazardous materials on board Liberian registered ships.

Shipowners with ships calling at EU ports therefore are advised to develop the IHM before 31 December 2020.
